THE MISSION DIRECTOR

Hey! I’m Becky!

I started Stellar because I saw a gap in gymnastics training. As a former competitive gymnast who found dance as an adult, I realized how much movement quality and body awareness can transform an athlete’s performance. Too often, things like form, flexibility, and artistry get pushed to the side. I wanted to change that.

When I became a dancer, it was easy for people to spot me as a former gymnast. Even though I’d always felt confident performing and dance had come naturally to me, I quickly realized that didn’t mean I had strong dance technique.

I had to unlearn years of stiffness, incorrect alignment, and the wrong kind of muscle engagement. I worked hard to move with freedom, gain control of my movement, and build my dance technique. My dance journey is still on going, but so far, that journey took me from the gym to the stage, and I’ve been performing professionally ever since.

My dance career has included:

Blippi The Musical
Sesame Street Live!
National tours, theme parks, and regional theaters
Professional modern and contemporary companies

And I'm still going :)

I’ve also coached gymnastics for 20+ years, from pre-team to being a head optional coach, gymnastics director, and more. I’ve also choreographed award-winning routines in both dance and gymnastics.

With a background in gymnastics, a deep dive into dance, and a love for teaching, I set out to create resources that actually make a difference in these areas in a way that's approachable and easy to understand.

Through Stellar, I help gymnasts, coaches, and choreographers:
